Throughout my professional career – <\/span>14 in the automotive industry<\/b> e <\/span>6 in the bathroom furniture industry<\/b> – I’ve learned that logistics isn’t just about moving materials: it’s about <\/span>connecting people, processes and purpose<\/b>.<\/span><\/h2>

At The Light Rebar Company, logistics is a strategic pillar<\/b>: delivering the right<\/b> product, at the right time<\/b>, with optimized quality<\/b>, safety<\/b> and total cost<\/b>, reducing waste and environmental footprint, all with the most advanced processes and in line with Industry 4.0.<\/p>

Our actions in logistics <\/b><\/span><\/h2>

  1. Planning <\/b>
    Production planning, collaborative forecasts with customers and suppliers, and dynamic buffers to reduce shortages and excess stock.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Use of resources and circular economy<\/b>
    Study and improvement with returnable and recyclable packaging, reuse of pallets, and reduction of waste in handling.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Culture of excellence<\/b>
    Kaizen, 5S, standardization of work, continuous training and structured problem solving.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

    Our purchasing process<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

    1. Internal requisition<\/b> (need validated by planning\/production).<\/p><\/li>

    2. Negotiation<\/b> (price, lead time, minimums and lots).<\/p><\/li>

    3. Purchase order (PO)<\/b> and delivery planning<\/b> (MRP, Kanban when applicable).<\/p><\/li>

    4. Shipping and receiving<\/b> (inspection at reception).<\/p><\/li>

    5. Stock entry & traceability<\/b> (WMS\/ERP, labeling).<\/p><\/li>

    6. Continuous supplier evaluation<\/b> (quality, delivery, cost, sustainability) and improvement<\/b>.

      <\/p><\/li><\/ol>

      The purchasing process is extremely important because it is linked to the entire production process, so we have to create a very strong link with the supplier at delivery level so that nothing fails. Our partners are the face of our final product.<\/p>

      In our company there are no suppliers, there are<\/b> no customers, there are partners<\/b> and these partnerships result in companies and products that are truly differentiated and that grow together with strength and determination.<\/p>

      Shipping<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

      Shipping is the last stage of logistics and often the moment when the brand promise is confirmed or broken in the eyes of the customer. It is at this stage that orders are converted into real deliveries, with a direct impact on satisfaction and our company’s image.<\/p>

      The process begins when the order is released and progresses to sorting, checking, packing, culminating in loading, documentation and transportation with tracking until proof of delivery of the goods.<\/b><\/p>

      We are consolidating processes<\/b>, strengthening partnerships<\/b>, reducing waste<\/b> and increasing<\/b> end-to-end visibility<\/b>.
